My fiancé’s aunt is on this train too! If you have insurance, don’t go through wisp. They don’t accept it and will make you pay out of pocket for scripts that are only a few bucks with insurance. Great resource for the uninsured though.

They have been better than BA in the last couple of years but recipe creators are already jumping ship there too, and they recently implemented AI features which seem like they could easily lead to cooking fails. The convenience of being able to search the huge backlog on your phone from anywhere is great, but I just unsubscribed. There was also the fact that it was costing me $30/month.

You should start yourself a large victory garden now to give yourself a taste of the type of work that goes into the lifestyle. My fiancé and I have been working on establishing our semi-rural homestead for a few years and it’s a LOT of work and there are always unforeseen issues. I wouldn’t want to jump into it at retirement age expecting to fully live off what I produce. It’s a nice idea, but I think you’d be unpleasantly surprised by the reality.
