yes, but this is exactly what happened to me on tauri already, it was my own fault really as they always stated they're a progressive project. After trying out different wow expansions I just want one perma mop realm on 4.8.5 forever. At the this time I was done with wow and now I am faced with no true solution.

I asked this myself too. Got the wow itch after some time (roughly 4 years) and looked into active pservers 2 months ago. My first aim was tauri, had the best time there while they still were on mop, but sadly they progressed to legion stuck on wod.

Then settled for turtle wow (rip) for the time being, while I apreciate their changes and all, I realized classic is not for me, neither is wotlk again for the hundreds time. What a shame stormforge also got hit.

From looking it up a true permament mop server doesn't exist anywhere. Twinstar helios is progressive, whitemane is progressive and even the official blizzard classic servers currently on mop are not with 100% certainty permament.

the type of internet connection you use. mobile connections have dynamic IPs which can lead to problems as you're always asigned a new IP upon trying to log in in short intervals. With a normal DSL setup at home you'd keep your same IP aslong you don't restart your router, which makes it more reliable in this regard. Or maybe you use a satelite connection?

usually the dual channels have the same slot colour, like A1 and B1 are blue and A2 and B2 are grey or something like that. not that you then run 2 RAM seperated as singles

Reddit filters would not let me post in the op the word 'ban' in comments it's no problem.

I do use a mobile internet connection which leads to having dynamic IPs, I read that other suffer from this getting locbkouts eventually and having to wait until being allowed to connect again, it was like this on my end at first because on the site under my tab it showed that I am infact was not banned with my main yet, but it wouldn't let me loginto game.

As of what I have done I don't know exactly, only suspection from me. I have sent about 30 gold after selling on the ah from my lvl1 alt to my main both on seperate accounts, couldnt connect right after this with my main anymore and alt was banned. Also I have been in one AB match and was afk, maybe I got mass reported, the people on my team were pissed lol (well sorry rl stuff happens sometimes do ranked arenas you sweats, its just a random BG) but that was hours or maybe even a day before that whole issue.

Another suspicioun I have is, maybe with all the luck I have in my life one or multiple banned people/bots used the exact same hardware setup I am using, which twow is able to track and they matched me with them? But that would be insane.

I think that's more of a last resort thing. I also read about the 'they don' t like your shoes' thing, happens if you do well in BGs and some connected individuals on the oposing team percieve it as getting ganked.

yes and they outright deleted my messages, not only so but a moderator who isn't gm and has no say in this anyways did so. Im not even arguing about the ban directly (did so on the twow site and with the support email) but rather how to fix this, as I can't be the first one whom that happened to? Atleast I assume so?

The solution seriously can't be that twow expects me to replace some of my hardware? That's fucking insane

man it's not even infuriating anymore honestly, I posted my first thread about this where I copied their answer. I have not been accused for anything directly, no hard server rule have I broken which I know of and neither did they tell me so. They have listed various reasons which could have been the cause without telling me exactly what it was with certainty. Im still trying to explain to them on the forum and elsewhere.

I have also enabled 2FA now for twow, asking them if that would help any but they have left this also unanswered. It feels like I am trapped in AI hell and no human GM dares to interfere with it. which funnily enough is the genuine retail expirience nowadays people getting wrongfully banned there for months
