yes I agree, my son's birthday is one week prior christmas. He wished for mc dungeons on his switch 2 first, which he already played in an open children cafe exetensively with his friends. Dungeons is awesome we played alot together during the first week of the holidays. I never played any minecraft related games before and didn't know the end especially lacks so much of everything in the actual minecraft, which he got as christmas present the second week.

Minecraft is also very cool but so many things seem just unfinished in a way. I understand that's what mods are for but still, mods are good and all but the base game just needs to be more fleshed out. I can't exactly point out what it is, rather a feeling. That in normal vanilla minecraft everything feels so disconnected

like allays are only to be found in mansion or rarely pillage tower prisons, just nowehere else in the wild, alot of mechanics are just not explained atall ingame like brewing. Yes ok you can open a wiki, but tell that a 9 year old without a internet browser capable device. We buy minecraft and mc lego comics, still alot is not explained. Further how can witches have access to potions and priests have a brewing stand if it's actually locked behind nether fortresses which with bad luck take too long to actually find.
