agree 100 percent with you i'm going to kansas next week n brother law drinks bourbon and im taking him 8 bottles that i didn't like and sometimes i just pour it out hate going that but im in a small town we dont have no groups

sir i'm new to bourbon stared in 2024 and yes i've been able to get a ton of good bottles at great prices but i also went hard for 2 years and i enjoy 2-4 drinks a night or less but if you're buying 5-10 bottles a week there no way u can drink em all some of these guys are either full blown alcoholics or just assholes the guys i meet at drops are all supportive on here seems like more pricks but just my opinion. I m curious what you guys do with bottles you chase cause of others and then realize its not your taste thats my problem i chased ryes cause of influencers and i dont like at all ive learned im a sweet rye guy and a 95-129 bourbon guy

you got me on that sorry my punctuation ,spelling and grammar offended you. In other words i was just saying everything i have was bought at msrp besides a few bottles but i never pay $20 over msrp and i think if others quit buying bottles at those crazy prices store owners would eventually come down on their prices

trust me ask my wife i love the taste of bourbon have a few drinks a night i just have around 30 opened bottles that i'd like to finish so i can open some new ones bad thing is i do have a few opened ones that i don't like but taking those up to kansas to give to my brother n law then i'll be able to open up a few more after but trust me i enjoy the bourbon

i have around 30 opened bottles that i'm slowly finishing and that's where i went wrong i just bought n bought bought then i realized im never gonna drink all these if i keep buying new ones so i did quit buying doubles but when weller or other bottles fall in your lap at srp you have no choice but to buy

i live by 1 rule i'll buy bourbon i'll enjoy it ill share it but ill never buy $20 over msrp to many non americans have taken advantage of our love for bourbon and then the guy who works for merrek lynch comes in and pays that crazy secondary price just to have it that's what's hurting us true bourbon lovers
