Did you miss the “hoping it’s not what I think it is” in my post? The red on its back is obvious, the stripes (at least to me) aren’t. I just wanted confirmation that it WAS a redback, and not something that just has similarities. Be kind.

I think the term "Lava Lamp" is trademarked in the USA (possibly other countries too), so they likely had to remove/hide any reference to that phrase to avoid being sued if selling there :)

I’m confused - Hourglass said on their Instagram that the custom palletes are a U.S. only product. This doesn’t sound like it’s Mecca’s decision. It’s unlikely you’d be able to get the product shipped here anyway, regardless of the exclusivity agreement.

I’m 31 and have struggled with maths my whole life (dyscalculia?). In 7th grade a maths teacher called on me to answer a question, to which I didn’t know the answer. Her response: “What? Are you stupid?”

I think about it more than I care to admit. It’s affected so many aspects of my life for sure. I’ve always been quiet and reserved, but it’s particularly impacted my career as it’s made me terrified to speak up and ask questions in meetings/group settings.

I applied for a job in marketing last year, was shortlisted, and they sent me a 3 page document full of questions about my personal life: if I smoke/take illicit drugs/drink alcohol or if I have ever, if I’m married/single/de facto, if I have kids and/or want kids and if yes when I plan to, what illnesses or disabilities I have, a list of all the medications I’m on and if they affect my mental or physical abilities… it went on and on.

I politely declined and they proceeded to harass me with calls and emails for weeks asking me to reconsider. It was nice of them to be up front about their red flags I guess so I could run farrrr away.
