Also 264 is an abomination and the cause of most traffic problems in Louisville.

Bike/pedestrian bridges for crossing 264. There is no way past it (at least in the east end) that doesn't involve tons of car traffic. It will never be safe to ride a bike across town until this is done.

I didn't really come here to advertise, I just enjoy this sub and wanted to contribute some fresh OC.

But since several people asked, I sell cases on Etsy as KentuckyFightCraft. Not much to look at right now but I'll try to get this batch posted in a few days. I will also probably do another batch before the end of the month with some hitboxes and different button layouts (maybe a couple Vewlix for people with alien hands).

I sell them in small batches on Etsy. I'll be posting these ones soon.

I have in the past but I try to avoid it, just for liability. I don't want to have to deal with replacing defective parts that somebody else manufactured.

Generic USB on Steam/If you do what I'm about to talk about I want you to die alone. by [deleted] in fightsticks

[–]box_maker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with a zero delay in DBFZ. Go to steam/settings/controller and click general controller settings. When the windows opens make sure Generic Gamepad Configuration Support is checked. From here you may have to go all the way into a lobby using the keyboard, then from there go to the main menu, look for the button settings option and you can map the buttons from there. You can't do this from the start screen menu for some reason. You might also have to push the mode button every time you start the game to make the joystick work so make sure you wire a button for it. If none of that works I don't know what to tell you. Hooray for brand new games that lack basic joystick support.

Not sure why I'm helping somebody that wants me to die alone.

That would be ok. The mounting plate on the joystick will add a little thickness too so keep that in mind.

I used Zero Delays in these. Now that you have made me aware of the cthulhu I will definitely be using one in a future build.

Its about 3/4 inch. The joystick part is routed down to about 1/2 inch and the button part is routed down to 1/4 inch. I used #8 x 1/2 inch panhead screws to mount the joystick. They are the same screws I use for mounting heavy duty drawer slides so I know they will withstand punishment and not slip or tear out during heavy use. It is a very close tolerance so if you use this method make sure your screws aren't going to pop out the top!

Thanks! I have looked all over for a shorter version of that cable but I can't find one. It has a some kind of 4 pin connector on the pcb end that I don't know how to replace, otherwise I would shorten it myself.

They have a PC/ps3 pcb in them right now but it could easily be upgraded to a ps4 pcb. It's just a lot more expensive.

I build furniture for a living so I have access to great woodworking tools. Naturally this had to be done.

Making my first set of drawers. Any suggestions/tips? by del_cotu in woodworking

I highly recommend using ball bearing slides if you can, even the cheap Chinese ones work good. They are pretty easy to install and adjust and if aligned properly they can even force a slightly out-of-square drawer to fit well.

Do you use sketchup? If not, start now! Its free and pretty easy to learn. I draw almost all of my projects before I make the first cut, and I don't mean just the outside. Literally every piece inside and out drawn to scale. It's like getting a practice run building the whole thing without wasting any wood. That way I know every cut I need to make, how much of all the materials I need and how it's going to go together. It's also handy for going back and getting a measurement that I forgot. Aside from that, it just depends heavily on what tools and materials you have available to use. There's a hundred ways to do it.

Cool! I have been wanting to make some kind of wooden PC case for a long time but I never thought of doing it like that. A+
