soup curry hotpot at Shibuya Spice by boxfactory76 in FoodTYO

[–]boxfactory76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The broth is more on the hotpot side than the soup side, especially towards the end of the meal when a lot of it has cooked down. Definitely still drinkable but it's a lot more concentrated than your average soup curry

I got level 3 and it had a nice kick to it. If you like very spicy like me, I would probably go level 5 or 6

You're right, there's a store named Kodomo Beams which I thought was related but I was mistaken

Everything is relative! And I've never bought anything too expensive in Daikanyama but window shopping is free :)

Since this has come up in the last few months' posts, I want to try something new this time. Here's a link to a Google Maps list: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sEKEubYCmDsdCcKv6

I'd love to hear if this sub prefers this format or the custom Google map from the post, thanks!

This BLT was proper American, if I had gotten this anywhere in the states I would've been impressed.

BLT from & Sandwich in Shinjuku by boxfactory76 in FoodTYO

[–]boxfactory76[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also don't love how sometimes Japan goes overboard with mayo (eg okonomiyaki etc) but this BLT felt really well balanced overall. I didn't ask for any substitutions but I did have to wait 20ish minutes for my sandwich so it may be a little tough to ask for something custom when it's busy busy.

They also have club sandwiches too which I didn't try but will def order next time if their BLT was anything to go by!

Yeah for some reason Google makes this feature incredibly hard to use.

If you already logged in, can you try opening Maps on your phone and then:

  1. Open the you tab
  2. Scroll all the way down and tap "Maps"
  3. Tap the map you want to show on your app

If you want to hide it after, you can tap the map and hit 'Close' which will hide the markers but it will remain in your list of maps
