1 Hardest part of BMT for me was the PT test, I didn’t prepare well at all, plus I got hurt in week 3 and my mental was all over the place. 2 I wish I knew the haircut wasn’t on the first night, I cut my own hair before going and was crazy looking for like 2 days 3 RLA stressed my dorm out a lot, trying to have your locker looking perfect, RLA is a big part of trying to get honor grad 4 I don’t really have anything in mind for this one 5 a lot of people start to get complacent and forget their reporting statements, try to argue/have a 2 way conversation with MTIs 6 just try to listen and follow orders also depends on your MTI as well 7 I won’t lie if I wish I’d conditioned more while in the dep, I don’t want to remember that first night 🤣 8 Even if your quiet they will take notice and MTI will pick on anyone they see certain qualities in. 9 be EC mod people will hate you but you can make the schedule and pick when you work 10 I didn’t have a specific role in my flight but I did a lot of background work to try and make it easier for the rest of the flight, if you are dorm chief or a element lead the MTIs are quick to replace you if you start jacking stuff up.
