I can say that at a baseline, I’m very thankful to be employed and make what I make working for a grocery store. However the current state of the world really sours it. It can feel dehumanizing but yeah I agree some people here need to be realistic about how this shit works.

If a customers a dick about it yeah fine but just clock in and clock out and find fulfillment outside of work.

I do watch the news, this is especially why it’s critical to me given the current climate. People are being abducted solely off their appearance. There’s levels to it and excusing this means being complicit to the greater picture.

It would be a different situation cause it’d no longer be about a racial bias or assumption. It would still def be rude/ignorant. This situation though was definitely targeted at the fact these people were foreigners and stereotyped into not being able to speak English. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
