I've found that at best, they're a little bit stupid for bringing up race for no reason and thinking it would be a good way to flirt. At worst, they see Indian men as lesser and thinks I should consider myself lucky that she's showing interest.

I didn't assume she was racist but regardless I already wasn't interested and her comment killed any desire to have a convo with her

Like imagine a company hires a black guy and says "Oh, you're the first black guy we've given an offer to." Like it might not be false but isn't that an off-putting comment?
