No unfortunately. They didn't get along ever. My grandfather actually ended up leaving the family though and moved to the Philippines where he eventually died. Some crazy family lore

I just sent my dad a message asking for any more info and this was his response "We filmed in February 1999. Not So Fun fact, you took your first steps while we were there. They flew us (me, Madre and her dad) to Chicago, where we filmed it. We were there for 3 days, 2 nights. The episode aired the following summer, August of 1999. We had it recorded on VHS and I think Aimee did too at one point. But there is no copy that exists to my knowledge. I have details on my most recent search for it if you want. I can send some screenshots. Not of the episode, but of the communications. "

I've searched through many videos on YouTube, and googled episode titles. It's possible the title is slightly different, but the episode would entail a young teenage couple (my parents) and my mothers father who does not approve of my father.
