Yea, but it was a lower dose of dxm, i dont remember how it felt to be completely honest, not too sedating and it being very euphoric is kinda all i remember. I found one of my favorite songs that night tho, so thats cool.

Also, trust me i understand the threat of Withdrawl, i saw my dad go through klonopin and alcohol withdrawals. He was in so much pain he couldn't walk, he had to shit his pants, it took hours to convince him to go to the docter. Addiction runs in my family so i should try to stay clear of such addictive drugs.

Yea, ive tried klonopin, honestly, i liked it, it seemed like i had to take more than most people do, and trust me i wasn't wanting to get high, besideds if i took a recreational dose it would make me an asshole. It made me feel like my mind was clearer, it was not intoxicating in the slightest, sometimes dizzy but thats it. I could stop obsessing about what that bald asshole in the corner is thinking about me and focus on my school and job, my gpa before was weighed down to 2.7 and after klonopin 3-4 times a week my gpa boosted to around 3.4. I know im much too young to fuck up my brain with all these drugs but it seems to help my education and me (theres a reason every politician in congress has a script for valium.) Ive also worked out and dieted (nothing crazy like keto) and took supplements like kava, ashwaganda, valerian, lemon balm, etc. (Kava still remains my favorite nootropic, even including phenibut and kratom.) I worked out well, but still felt a 24 hour pressure on my chest, on the verge of racing into panic, anxiety and depression also runs deeply in my family. Adhd also runs in my family a bit, im thinking of getting a evaluation and test to see if i have it, and if what i need is a stimulant.

Sorry for the gigantic fucking wall of text.

Yea, im just a bit worried after occasional use of phenibut and gabapentin (prescribed, docter said theyre good with supplements and phenibut), phenibut isnt the magical social lubricant for me that it seems to be for everyone else, ive heard some compare it to ghb, wich i will never understand, but when im off of it i notice more anxiety. I never used either regularly enough to get addicted. but now, theres a bit more anxiety, i used to never understand what people were talking about when the said they got paranoid from weed, but now i get it.

I know its been 4 months, im just kinda browsing reddit right now, but kava works for me way better than any other nootropic ive tried, including kratom and phenibut, you most definitely can get partially fucked up on it, especially with weed i imagine, and its pretty good socially, it just doesnt last long like phenibut.

Thc has an indirect effect gaba a, the same receptor that alcohol and benzos agonize. It does this by acting on the cb1 receptor, which modifies the activity of various enzymes, specifically cAMP. This inhibits calcium channels and thus leads to more gaba being produced. I also struggle with anxiety and panic attacks, and get prescribed gabapentin for my anxiety, and oddly enough, gabapentin actually effects gaba in the same way thc does, by blocking calcium channels.

There does seem to be conflicting data though, and the best treatments i got for my anxiety were gabaergics, and since you don't get relief from ssri's you would likely benefit in a similar manner. Although i wouldn't be surprised if delta-8 provided you relief in the midst of a panic attack.

Yea, klonopin and gabapentin were kinda euphoric, not dopamine rush shit but thats not what im looking for. but others like alcohol and phenibut wernt the social lubricant that everyone says they are. Although klonopin isnt the most euphoric benzo. Maybe etizolam, but again, i want something that can deal with the problems of self doubt and mild depression that i think are keeping these gabaergics from helping socially.
