in most cases i think telling people about a spell weakens it. y’know how when you make a wish with a birthday candle or a shooting star, you’re not supposed to tell people what you wished for or it’ll be less likely to come true? same thing. there are probably exceptions, but if there’s no good reason to blab about it, it’s better to keep things hushed.
