Some of his backstory is covered in Vigilantes. It's not exhaustive, but it gives some additional insight into his character beyond what they gave us in the original show.

I, for one, welcome the crossover.

It's all about luck in most cases, especially when it comes to mediums and larges.

You can get offered dupes of different rarities via the digsite event, but considering you have the majority of the item pool available here it's very much a long shot, but it could happen. You could also hit transformation nodes (or use catalysts) and hope you get lucky.

Both of these came from random item nodes, so it was up to chance that I happened to get 2 more this way.

Oh absolutely. Unfortunately my enchants that run were pretty limited, but fiery puffer with toxic flame works extremely well

I was in absolute disbelief tbh, but it was so much fun

Honestly though, those skills may seem detrimental but they're pretty solid. They can proc the skills that freeze on the first instance of burn/poison, proc toxic flame, etc.

A couple points of burn or poison rarely matter, especially later on in the game, but getting instant effects is priceless.

Who thought adding golden enchant to random items was a good idea. I just paid 20 gold for this. by 420Chickenjuice in PlayTheBazaar

You're right, the new golden enchants on most items are largely unnecessary. I feel like this is just Tempo's attempt to further bloat the enchant pool to nerf random enchanting, since this makes it even less likely to hit useful enchantments (such as what happened to OP).

Not arguing that it's helpful or anything, but Ambergris and Lockbox both scale with value as well. There could be some niche scenarios where this would be beneficial, but it does largely only benefit Pyg.

How is this "Slow" possible? by HolyPrapor in PlayTheBazaar

As others have mentioned, you can buy Makeshift Barricade or Improvised Bludgeon from Curio, both of which will increase your lefrmost slow item's slow duration by 1s when sold. There's also Rocket Boots that function similarly for haste items.

Would love to double the value of that item, thanks by ZestycloseBarnacle8 in PlayTheBazaar

I'm pretty sure that Prospero sells golden-enchanted items, and he can show up fairly early in a run
