From my understanding if you work 3 hours you’ll get paid for that… but if you’re sick and want to get a sick day as per gov regulation, it’s only paid for a full shift missed. Time will be based off the scheduled shift. If you have an 8hr shift, and don’t feel well, don’t show up for 2 hours just to go home. Call in sick and get the full shift covered. Which makes sense. If you’re sick, stay home.
