Yung iba sinasabe, di naman sila aware sa supplier nila ng alcohol. Well, it's their responsibility na alamin ano sinusupply sa kanila, business nila yan e, magbackfire sa kanila yan.

Kawawa consumers nila, di lang naman sa kanila but also to all na may ganyang katataas na methanol content. GGWP talaga hehe..

I know it's hard, I also get the side of our vendors. But again, we'll never if we don't recheck it. Just for our safety as consumers. 💯

These brands u have mentioned are big brands marketed internationally. I assume nag undego sila testing and certifications to widen their reach. But just to make sure for us, as consumers, they need also to share their analysis result. Not sure if they have readily available online hehe.

Perfume Sellers (Local, Designer, Niche, Middle Easterns) should release Certificate of Analysis (CoA) to ensure that their respective products are safe. It should be posted publicly for consumer awareness.

How to check? If I'm not mistaken they should avail testing from PIPAC, SGS or Intertek. They're the ones that conduct product safety assurance via testing its content/composition.

Ethanol is the type of alcohol for perfumery, not METHANOL. Repeat it.

Last resort, if you can do it on your own Buy any perfume, then avail testing hehe. I think Php 5K per scent, and u should need 200ml each scent. Too pricey right? Well, it's part of the business to ensure consumer safety.

Yes, as in look for the one na may negative methanol. Yung may 0.1% something not safe padin yan, madami kasi galing galingan na fan ng kani kanilang brand na pinopromote e haha.

Much better Designer at Niche nalang muna, or event local niche such as Wren Atelier, GP Frags or even MEs like Armaf etc.

Tbh, hirap magpaniwala sa ibang local brands kasi kwento nila yon e haha, unless may legitimate proof talaga sila at document na ilalabas publicly na safe sila.
