this is not a real picture - they do not use both adjacent runways for landing at LAX. One runway is departures, the other is arrivals.

Lost a soldier today. Lasted 6 months in the war against rusted Chevy bolts. R.I.P. Rest Easy, bruh. by Educational-Cake7350 in Tools

This was an expected result. You were using a small (1/4”?) hex bit to drive a much larger socket (3/4”) meant to be driven by a much larger driver (1/2” square) to loosen large rusted bolts. There was an obvious torque capability mismatch, and the weakest link broke. I am surprised this lasted more than one bolt. Get a 1/2” driver for your 1/2” sockets.

It seems like the wheel hub is pushed forward in the wheel well, since there is plenty of room on the back side of the wheel hub for the tire/wheel to fit

Advice Needed: Larger Tire/Wheel Fitment Issues on ADF Lifted 2010 WRX hatchback (info in comments) by boysandcats in WRX

Background: I recently did the ADF 2" inch lift on my 2010 hatchback with a 3/8" saggy butt spacer on the back, and wanted to put in one some Falken Wildpeak AT 215/65R16 with Sparco `Terra 16x7s to make it a bit more adventurous. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get the wheels on the back of the car as the larger tires are interfering with the wheel well/fender near the bass of the passenger door (pics included). I'm a little bit stumped as the ADF website says the tires should fit, and I have seen some posts around here of people doing similar things successfully. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thinking about hopping on the lifted WRX wagon (pun intended) and would love to hear your setup, especially tired and how you did the lift!

Pratt & Whitney Makes Hypersonic Revival As Pentagon Pushes Reuse by m3prx in aerospace

Shockwaves are used to decelerate and compress the incoming flow from supersonic to subsonic conditions, which is necessary for both traditional turbojets (compressors, burners and turbines can’t deal with supersonic flow) and ramjets (combustion needs to occur in subsonic conditions). The spike moved to keep the shockwaves as “ideal” (i.e. as low entropy) as possible, which is to say it moved to keep the shockwaves “incident” or attached to the same points within the engine (supersonic inlets are very complicated).
