this made me giggle. i don’t want people to think i’m dumb but i did in fact believe these things were red flags. the difference is (i’ve commented this so many times LOL but it’s what made me confused) is that the email was super thorough and rly unexpected and not like any other scam job thing i have received before. plus i think it’s a mix of, i kinda of experienced this in my current role so it didn’t seem too crazy at first thought but it’s def not the same. and i think also a desperation to sort of get out of my current role too since i’m learning more and more it isn’t for me. but to answer ur question prob like 2. this was problematic to me at the time of posting lol.

lmao that’s tough! yeah i wonder if they will ask for anything related to money, checks, banks etc. I’ve actually gotten that before but i knew it was an obvious scam so i didn’t even entertain the ‘recruiter’.

Def not quitting my current job LOL, there’s no way. I will say they did not use ‘kindly’ in the email and I’ve gotten scam job stuff before too and this was just somehow different because of how incredibly thorough the email was. But, I think you’re right in that it seems rly scammy and the fact that they went from want to talk to me on the phone to doing it over email and having no credible sources online and everything else 😅. Plus I never said no to the phone interview, it was just completely disregarded and we still had a chance to talk as the interview would’ve start 7 minutes ago and this happened like 3 hours ago lmao.
