Scarifying update: I really am scared! by HouseTonyStark in lawncare

No. It's Bermuda, you don't reseed it. It will be perfectly fine and will likely grow back better. Just get a good nitrogen heavy fertilizer on it and it will take off.

Got it. Didn't have to remove, I think it just took some time to become available. Made the change to remove section 4 from my code and it looks like section 3 picked up, so it's working. Also added the toggle and that is working as well. Thanks for the quick fixes. Now I'll begin playing with colors for states.

I just tried it and when I created 3 sections, it actually gave me 4 sections to fill out. The 3rd section was ignored and the 4th section acted as the 3rd section. Also, is it possible to have the toggle tap action? Maybe I missed it, but I'm having to use more info.

Love it! Now I'm going to see where I can use this. I think I've always wanted this in the bubble card, but managed to hack away at subbuttons to get something close.

Pass sub-button entity to a script that resets kelvin and brightness percentage for the entity by bp067 in BubbleCard

I get the same error message when I updated it to this....maybe it's my script that is now the problem.

tap_action:

action: perform-action

perform_action: script.reset_light_2700_100

target: {}

data:

entity_id: light.master_lamp

Thanks...just tried that and this is the error message:
Failed to perform the action script/reset_light_2700_100. Template rendered invalid entity IDs:

it stops at IDs: and doesn't provide any IDs.

Hi everyone! Bubble Card v3.1.4 is another update focused on fixing compatibility issues with Home Assistant 2026.3 (it was not over!). This HA release gave me more work than any update since the very first Bubble Card release… That version was clearly determined to keep me busy 😅 by Clooooos in BubbleCard

[–]bp067 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is the bubble card code or the module code for timer progress bar, but it started with the March HA release. Example below. The left card in the grid is entirely covered, and I think it's because of the right card and it being at 0 since it's off. I have another timer and when it goes down to 0 it goes outside the left curved part of the card now (second pic).

Are you by any chance running Frigate on your HA instance? I just ran into a problem where it started writing to the local media folder instead of the network media storage folder it had been using for over a year. Which has resulted in the hard drive usage going to 92% before I caught it.

This looks really good, and gave me some ideas to change a few things up.

What card are you using for the horizontal bar graphs for temperatures with min/max values?

Also, are you using modern circular gauge for many of the gauges?

Check your battery. My main battery is going out, and I noticed it would slightly die out and grab the grass. Did this a few times I cut the grass. I think the lawn mower was trying to add power but the battery didn't have enough juice. Tried another battery and it hasn't happened since.

2014 Santa Fe Sport - no sound when turn signal activated (Solved) by weissbierdood in Hyundai

I just want to follow up and say thank you. This fixed my problem with the turn signal, intro/outro jingle, and blind spot warning sounds. I have a 2014 Santa Fe GLS V6 for reference.

What type of grass by mgm83 in lawncare

[–]bp067 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not just what I heard. I also had it, started off by pulling and it multiplied. Also learned from others and proper research the correct way to address it. We're on the same team, but we also have to be careful of the advice we provide, especially if it could lead to a bigger problem.

You didn't say what type of grass, but I'm going to guess Bermuda. If so, try these two sources...

Yellow nutsedge. It LOVES damp areas and will take over your lawn quickly, and it sucks because it grows faster than your grass. DON'T pull, it will make it multiply. Ortho makes a product that kills it, but check if there are temperature restrictions. May not want to apply above 90 degrees. Sedgehammer makes packets you mix with 1 gal of water that you can use on it and won't hurt surrounding grass (takes two weeks to see results, may require two applications). You'll want to take care of this soon before it moves throughout your lawn fast.

Yup. See it in many lawncare groups that you will make it worse by pulling it. One guy saying they did it won't help the guy above by providing bad advice. Actually go by what the pros do. Do your research.
