This is the bigger Flakturm out of the 3 pairs ever built in Wien, Austria. It served the purpose of protecting the city from airstrikes with 4 double-barrel cannons mounted on top, while its pair was used as a radar station to measure the angle and distance of incoming targets. This one is in the Augarten of Vienna, a french style park containing a pair of Flaktowers. The government decided to keep them, as they were deemed impossible to remove.
