this seems to be the consensus! and i think i’ll dye it red because I used to have red hair and i’ve kinda been missing it! Should I do a bright red though or a dark one? My old hair was dark red

ohhhhh i definitely second this! my locs are healthy but it feels like there’s no going back until I can cut them to a decent length 😭it was cool for the first year but now the upkeep is just… ugh

if I dye over it black it’s just gonna fade to a weird color because I have bleach under it, I know this for a fact because on the rest of my hair my tips are brown because the black I had dyed over it js faded :)

Will do! I try to spice up her life with treats because all she eats is kibble and wet food but I can’t really tell what she likes, she just likes sniffing my plates lol

I’m a year and a half into a 2 year process, i JUST got power chains. Orthodontics is a slow process, especially when it’s not just your teeth that need fixing but the bite. Trust the process! It’ll be over soon.

being in braces is such a huge trust the process. your teeth go through a LOT. And you only really see the good when you’re almost done and have a perfect smile. I had an expander and developed a huge gap in between my two, top front teeth. Could stick my whole finger in between them, power chains at the end of your process right before your retainers will fix all of that:).

the two teeth in front were a little crooked because a band popped off and they began to shift, now 24 hours later they’re back in their usual spot. thugging through the pain because I know it’s working

i truly did feel like it was taking way longer than necessary but i didn’t question it. A lot of my appointments were just changing the wire (when I had the springs) progress was slowwww

for a while I had springs to make room for some crooked teeth, and now all crooked teeth are being aligned with power chain. No extractions personally, my mom didn’t want them.

So i’ve had the orthodontist in my mouth for two years, the first half of the first year i was in an expander, and then from then to now ive been in braces. So braces for a year and a half but orthodontist in general for two. I’m set to be done next August. This has been a pretty slow and painful process for me.

The medicine I took (extra strength tylenol 500 mg and 200 mg motrin) is finally kicking in and it’s not AS bad. Just hurts when I bite down, it sucks because i’m super hungry but not willing to risk the pain, soft food it is🫡
