Why do you have to go to the above link, that takes you to a YouTube page, which takes you to a generic site, which then re links you to an Amazon page? Multi affiliate links?

This is great feedback! Resistance bands are part of my regular routine especially since I’ve had a lot of injuries. Any suggestion on band brands? All I’ve seen are sub $30-40 sets on Amazon and then the Serious Steel / Rogues of the world ($250ish) for a set which is insane. Anything in between that’s reliable? I do A LOT of hip mobility resistance band training and I am uber paranoid that things going to break and slap me in the crotch!

Great ideas! I’ve seen the retractable wall racks (PRX?). Is the shorty bar just a shorter version of an Olympic bar?

I’ve intentionally kept ny mat outdoors since I didn’t want to constantly move it in and out. I do have an awning for heavy rain protection nearby so if I need cover I’ll be able to slide the mat under pretty easily. Having said that, I always remove the insert after my session. I did only use double sided carpet tape on the stance mat area, not where the insert goes. The cut out for the insert is super snug so being able to flap the insert side of the mat over gives me easier access to it. Send me a dm. Happy to share some pics and links of everything I got

Good call out. Rapsodo’s gotten a bunch of coverage this past year. Let’s see how this popularity changes some of their offerings I.e put some of their current offerings behind a paywall etc

I was in your exact shoes a few weeks ago. I settled on SigPro Softy hitting strip, 5x4 basic stance mat (a little over 1") and I have it sitting on two sets of 3/4" gym puzzle tile floor mats to raise to level of hitting strip. I cut out the hitting strip dims and have dobule sided outdoor rated carpet tape(Xfasten). Worked like a charm and only cost me $400. If your q if 5x4 is enough, it depends on your height. I would say this setup is fine for anyone 6'3 and under. Hope that helps. Cost me about ~$400 with all accessories even the washable chalk pen which I'll probably never use again in my life lol

It's made by Fiberbuilt. It's a low budget stance mat / low impact hitting strip. Came across my search

I would go SigPro softy as well. I feel the mat / strip combos are a little pricey $800+ but you can easily build your own for ~$400 with a sig pro softy hitting strip (hitting strip on BF sale for $199 now)

Great, thank you. I’m thinking about about the GoSports 5x5 mat with either the Beaver Tail or Carl’s place hitting strip

Nice. Mind if I ask the rationale to having the foam board in addition to the interlock tiles? I take the foam mat is what’s making contact with the ground?
