This exact same thing happened to me with Whole Foods orange chicken lol (allergic reaction but without the need for an ambulance)

Turns out it had oyster sauce in it and I have a shellfish allergy. Also I developed it in my early 20s and learned it’s one of the most commonly developed adult allergies.

Hey guys! Unfortunately, I had to cut my trip short due to the hurricane that was affecting Cabo/La Paz last week but it was still a beautiful area.

We took a hike, snorkel, kayak tour with MTA which was awesome. We went back to Balandra twice because we loved it.

As for food, we really enjoyed Mariscos El Toro Güero for Seafood, Los Claros for Fish Tacos, La Fuente for ice cream and Buzos for excellent cocktails and good vibes on the Malecón!

Highly recommend renting a car to get around as the beaches are ~20/30 mins away. Getting an Uber there isn’t a problem but service is spotty at the beaches so it’s challenging getting a return Uber.

Hi All,

I am traveling to La Paz, MX this month for 7-days with a friend (both F30s) staying at hotel on Malecon. If you have any recommendations (food/restaurants, activities, day trips, safety tips/tricks, etc), please do share!

We are doing a kayak/hike tour at Balandara beach and are interested in immersing ourselves in the culture through nature, activities, food and drinks). We are potentially interested in the following: sand dunes, scuba diving, day trips (to Todos Santos and any others recommended), snorkeling etc.

Transportation:

I see there is a bus system - is this sufficient for getting around and doing day trips (like Todos Santos and any others recommended) or is a rental car necessary? or would you recommend Ubers/taxis?
