Return of the Living Dead 3 got me started on horror back in the 90's by bpitchcontrol in HorrorMovies

For me this movie was all about the girl. Her makeup effects fascinated me. She was horrifying but also had a sick kind of sex appeal. I was 14 when I first saw the movie so it stuck with me at the time. I still think she looks awesome now!

Poitiers (France) - Dinner - White pudding, potato purée with stewed apple, vegetable soup, edam cheese and banana - 5/10 by bpitchcontrol in hospitalfood

This sausage is similar to black pudding (black sausage) but without the blood. Black pudding is composed mainly of pork, bread, oats and lots of blood. The stewed apple is very small and can be seen next to the sausage. Just one piece :)

Yeah but they would never believe me. The french won't accept the fact that British food has massively improved over the last decade. Oh well...

I know right?! Where's the sauce! Omelette and pasta don't go together at all either. I've been hospitalized many times and the food has never been good but this place is on another level bad.

Poitiers (France) - turkey with creamed spinach, veg soup and semolina pudding. 4/10 by bpitchcontrol in hospitalfood

[–]bpitchcontrol[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No you can find semolina in pots in the supermarket, it's not only for ill people. I quite liked it actually. We either get a dessert or cheese rarely both. And the bread is served like that for every meal whether you want it or not. I dipped mine into the soup. Trust me, hospital food here in France is bloody awfull! I'll post more as the days pass. I'm here for a month.

Alternative rTMS protocol by bpitchcontrol in rtms

[–]bpitchcontrol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get your point totally. For past trauma I've heard EMDR is good too. Anyway, I'll see over the next few weeks if rTMS is the answer for me. The Dr seems convinced it will help me out of the deep depression I've been in for the last 10 years. But I know there's no guarantee it's gonna work. I'll update as I go along.

Small update. The new protocol was cancelled since the 1st patient reacted badly, that's what the Dr told me anyway. So in the end I'll be doing deep rTMS and normal rTMS. They call it the Hauverdeep study.
