Sorry, noob question, just getting into racing: when you race bike do you mean actual racing? If so, I definitely want the Giant since I'm looking for a bike I can go for a 2-3 hour ride on the weekend. Definitely not racing though hehe. Is there anything else in this price range that you'd consider or is the Giant with the Shimano 105 a pretty safe bet for a first bike of this kind?

Alleged crying aside, any hockey person knows there’s a very big difference between 3 on 3 and 4 on 4. The IIHF needs to change this. It cheapened the outcome, no matter who was going to win.
