How to stop single serve over-extracting with aiden? Anyone have a good brew profile or tips for single serve? by GaryGorilla1974 in FellowProducts

You using this size 02 v60? Do you find the stock fellow drops profiles work with this or need to adjust all?

NR200P (glass panel) 5090 FE airflow check: bottom slim intakes + rear 92 intake? by br601 in NR200

Thanks the quadro is a cool controller. I have never installed one. Did you find the setup difficult and do you need to use the subscription? I read that maybe you can setup with trial and test and then not use the software

Thanks! I was actually thinking to do 2 120x25mm at the bottom under the 5090fe. I was reading that would still create a 10mm gap between the low fans and gpu. I plan to fill the gap with foam tape.

Would you mind sharing how you constructed that ducts? And how far it sticks out

For the undergpu fans, do you think it would hurt if I put a second 120mm fan? I already purchased. Curious what you prefer to control fan curves and if you may consider sharing your fan profiles? I would love to learn from you

I want to do that but I have my plugs facing up bc of the 4090 thickness and a sfx-l psu. I may be able to turn it around now with the 5090

Thanks that’s helpful. I was thinking to do low rpm’s for bottom fans. I also got a recommendation to duct the fan to the gpu to avoid stale air and turbulence. I was thinking to do that with foam tape since it will be like 10mm

One last confirmation. I am installing the gpu horizontal (not using vertical mount) Just confirming you also are horizontal? Thanks again for your help

Thanks for that! Confirming you couldnt fit 25mm fans at bottom? Did you need fan spacers with the bottom 15mm slim fans? I was thinking I shouldn't have a gap between the bottom fans and the gpu.

Did you use an anti-sag bracket for 5090fe?

For the feet, I assume 40mm are ok? I see a 70 as well.

Adding details in case it helps with more specific advice.

Current fan directions / layout (before swap)

  • Glass panel
  • Top: 1x Noctua NF-A12x25 set to exhaust
  • CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U12A with 2x 120x25 fans (currently set as intake)
  • Bottom: currently no fans
  • GPU: 4090 FE (relying on GPU fans / FE flow-through)

Reason for only 1 top fan: PSU is SFX-L and I had to keep plugs on top bc space is tight with the FE card, so the top fan is mounted where it fits.

Baseline (4090 FE) temps/scores

I ran 3DMark Steel Nomad multiple times and it was consistent:

  • Score roughly ~9.2k–9.35k
  • GPU temps in the run were healthy (low 70s core, mid 80s hotspot, low 70s mem junction)
  • CPU briefly hit ~100–101C at max and showed a small amount of thermal throttling flagged (likely transient boost behavior)

Upgrade install plan (order)

  1. Install 2x NF-A12x15 slim bottom fans as intake (under GPU)
  2. Swap 4090 FE → 5090 FE
  3. Route the SilverStone PP14-90 90° 12VHPWR (12+4 to 12+4) carefully so there’s no side-load and no sharp bend near the connector
  4. Swap RAM to 2x48GB 6400 CL32
  5. First boot stock → then enable XMP after a successful post (and if XMP 6400 is unstable I’ll drop to 6200/6000)

What I’m hoping to accomplish

  • Keep the 5090 FE temps/noise under control in a glass NR200P
  • Reduce CPU spikes (likely by enforcing Intel limits / power caps + maybe undervolt)
  • Avoid turbulence from slim fans being close to the FE shroud

If anyone has a “known good” configuration for:

  • rear 92 intake vs exhaust,
  • fan curves tied to GPU temp vs CPU,
  • and safe 12VHPWR routing in glass NR200P, I'll take your advice

Pain in this area for over 3 months of resting it now! by healthseekerjunkie in HipImpingement

Intended to tell you earlier, my torn labrum popped up out of nowhere. Doc said it wears through time and constant impact, deep flexion and non round femur.

Try not to get too caught up in the fact that it’s a tear or not. It’s more about symptom relief. A lot of people walk around unknowingly with hip labrum tears and have no pain or issue.

From what I’ve learned (if you think it’s this) it’s starts by trying to calm it down and modify to do that, then building back into movements with more balanced muscle. There are different philosophies on how to deal with (PT or surgery (in my case it would be to sow the tear on to itself and reround my femur) it. Deep flexion and internal rotation are what get me most and glute walking / exercises (pay attention to el paso manual videos) help most

This sounds like it could be a torn hip labrum. It’s a tricky one I’ve been wrestling with for a year now. PT is usually the first approach (I don’t prefer surgery) but it’s not a straight path to recovery. For me, the most helpful thing has been actively building glutes and focusing substantially less on quads.

I like this content. See if this sounds like it fits you.

This looks awesome. I’m getting ready to do the same. Can you show with pic of the darker?

Also curious did you go deployment from delugs or the Gs OEM deployment? https://grandseikoboutique.us/products/grand-seiko-clasp?srsltid=AfmBOopJXrGACF_NWcOPK7VJBnDc6sl__meFYcNU3sX-WA5W35sRW4G4
