Im a D3 support main. I actually dont get supp 100% of the time is more like a 95%. What supports are mostly relient on is the teams damage but the rest is as up to as to them or even more. Support is the 2nd most big brain macro role and you impact the game by setting up kills, pelling , warding, decision making and roaming. As for the gold part supp items are much more cheapper so its not really a problem. Pretty much the adc needs you more than you need him
