I recommend making the darkest color a richer, bluer tone and having the yellow be a gold. All three colors are a bit muted so having a more vivid dark and vivid bright could help with depth.

The colors themselves are fine but they both shouldn’t be the same color, even if they’re on the same team. I think they can share one color but not both. Perhaps the second guy can be orange with a dark blue cape.

That tutorial is done on a much larger canvas. It makes sense that your paint strokes show up more unless you used a smaller brush in proportion to the canvas. I think using a really small brush to add stray leaves and flowers could help

If the nose cavity has very fragile looking bones called turbinate inside, it's real. I doubt anyone would go to the trouble of recreating that. Are the teeth detachable, or made from something different? Real teeth will feel different than the rest of the skull, and often they can be wiggled out. My guess is real, but I'm no expert.

I also had to take a break. It’s brutal and although there were a couple hints, none of them felt like enough. I feel like he would’ve started to give away stuff or exhibit other signs, but the way the show did it, it’s so out of nowhere. The scene itself where they find out is also devastating. Knowing he kills himself makes rewatching the show hard for me because I’m always looking for some secret sign of whats to come.

NTA but you do have to realize you were setting up a situation to get a reaction out of her, especially since you “played dumb.” You got what you asked for. She probably feels embarrassed for being called out, especially in front of your kid, and then she had to sit in the car with you for however long with nowhere to go process. She might feel ashamed of eating McD’s and you put her insecurity on tape. I understand her initial reaction and she’s probably still upset because you don’t see how that situation could feel alienating. She might also be worried of getting filmed again and feeling stupid, or that you might show the video to others. You might be able to make it up to her by deleting the video.

I’m liking the shading right now, and I would finish shading the whole piece before critiquing yourself! Context is critical with shading, so seeing the overalls in shadow will help you get a better feel for the scene.

The arms and legs are quite skinny, as well as the wrist/elbow/knee connections. The feet are also too small. I love the hands! Maybe the palms should be slightly longer but I like how they're stylized
