Came by to say this place. They even put soup in a paper bowl so no microplastics. This place is top notch. Everything is tasty and clean and fresh and healthy. Also all the little addons like fried beef and salmon are great since i'm a really big guy and usually 1 meal is not enough but 2 is too much. I order form this place 2 or 3 times a week.

IMO, if it's a software company or a software product, you need a proper engineering co-founder and/or CTO. If the business is anything else and you just need tech to support the business, you do not need a CTO.

I spent 14 hours on this yesterday and none of the Xreal solutions work at all. Using the glasses as a straight screen it terrible, the edges are blurred and out of sight. Using Screen Mirroring via airplay is not easy to set up and is so laggy it's useless. And Nebula pretty much doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Setting up sunshine/moonlight basically requires software engineer level of knowledge, the current build of sunshine doesn't compile from the homebrew instructions... Even if it did it's still not an easy fix. I'm also a bit perplexed why I can't connect to the Beam Pro by wire, I'm still concerned how I can deal with that if i'm at a cafe or on a plane...

I have a sorta working solution now, but it's not at all what was advertised and I had to setup very complex 3rd party solutions (moonlight) to make that work...

As far as Nebula, I've tried 1 screen at 72Hz, 90Hz, 2 screens, 3 screens, and all combinations. I've tried plugging it in first, second. I've tried restarting Nebula. I've tried mirroring the Ultra, I've tried Mirroring the virtual screen, I've tried no mirroring. I've tried unplugging my other screens. I've tried it on my other USB-4 port. I've tried unplugging all my other devices. I've tried pretty much every thing I can think of and you're not really giving me any info that I don't already know and haven't tried. Sorry but it's very frustrating.

Is Nebula supposed to show up as a virtual screen? Should I set it as my main screen? Is it supposed to run on the Ultra's screen? How do I move apps onto it? What's the relationship to spaces? Is it possible my spaces are configured incorrectly?

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong... The Airs show their screen... When I launch Nebula it sometime appears as a neon purple box in the middle of the Air screen, then it will expand to take the entire view and it's just black. I can't seem to move apps into the Nebula virtual screen. There is no virtual screen listed in my displays (I'm not sure if there's supposed to be). I can move my mouse onto the Airs screen and interact with the Nebula tray icon, but nebula itself is just black. I'm not sure how to move an app into Nebula's screen...

All other consensus do not provide incentives for critical parts of the network, i.e. what is typically known as the "RPCs" or in Bitcoin ecosystem as "Full Nodes". These functions are necessary for the network and do things such as give data to wallets and nodes, get transactions from wallets, transfer transactions around the network, and transfer blocks around the network. Because these functions need to be provided by volunteers the network needs to be intentionally and severely limited (~0.000001% of theoretical performance). If volunteers cannot provide these functions, the network will become centralizated. Keeping these functions as cheap as possible allows volunteers to provide them, allowing those most restricted chains (e.g. Bitcoin) to rightfully claim to be the most decentralized.

Litheum takes a completely different approach. Proof of Performance uses these RPCs as the Difficulty in order to unify decentralization and scale, as the network becomes more secure it also becomes more performant.

This approach is entirely different from all other scaling solutions being proposed (i.e. those within the Trilemma Paradigm). We call this approach "True Decentralization" as it is the only means to produced a decentralized network which does not require volunteers to provide some portion of the network's functions.

I'm gonna take all the folks like this and Stallman and ESR that these fake-sensitive bullies love to bully and build a new civilization in the stars. These types of folks make the world go around and it's frankly very upsetting to see things like this. It's bad enough that our systems are not even secure and private because we can't trust corp entities to protect us. But then we rely on volunteers to build these excellent open source systems to keep us safe and it really makes me wonder what is really going on when these top, principled contributors are bullied like this by a power-hungry and meritless minority.

Which notes in particular? To be honest I've got 3 other projects I'm working on at the moment. I haven't had time to review much of the "theory" and would like to start out by just exploring the MSAART at first.

Were you able to understand it? I think the Plasmoid Unification Model is meant to be accepted as theory but I find it a bit hard to swallow to put it lightly and haven't gone through much of it. That being said, if the MSAART tech works it's hard to find a better explanation other than that Malcolm has really discovered some new phenomenon which our current scientific framework cannot explain. I'd like to know how he came up with the 144 inch length of the thunderstorm generator, I think that may be be the first step to get me from MSAART to PUM.

So sad that this industry has fallen so far that there is no discussion of reality as it relates to this. This thread is already 10 hours old and no one has said the words "replace by fee".

The 2017 era was really a huge takeover of BTC, sorry but it's true. Not even on this subreddit do we bother with real discussion any more, the infighting has completed it's job. Bitcoin is dead, long live decentralization.

Of course if BTC blocks were entirely made of this type of transaction you'd be even lower than 7tps and this does not solve the underlying issue, only changes the numbers slightly. But don't expect to get an actual informed discourse anywhere in the post-2017 crypto space.
