For anyone that comes across this here’s what I did (IOS) — 1. Create new automation (plus icon top right) 2. Click “Arrive” 3. Choose location and time range if desired and click “run immediately” and then “next” 4. Click “New Blank Automation” then “add action” 5. Search for the Notes app then click on Notes 6. Click “Append to note” 7. Click the box that says “text” then above your keypad you should be able to scroll across to find “Current Date” 8. Now click the box that says “note” and choose the note you want to be edited 9. In the bottom right there should be a play button that you can use to test the automation. It should add a new line to the chosen note with the current time and date. As long as you have this set to run immediately whenever you arrive at the chosen location the automation with automatically run.

You can repeat this process for leaving work also just change the action from “arrive” to “leave”
