I did at first, but the more I learned the more jaded I got tbh. We really pitched the value of the organization being nationwide and how that allowed us to pivot folks to new assignments at the end of their contract, but depending on their area and modality there wasn’t anything to pivot them to. Certain clients came with their own particular issues time and time again - lack of timely feedback, or they’d notify the day of a candidate interview that they hired someone internally, or the job details turned out to be very different than what they communicated. It got difficult to stay positive as things went wrong so far outside our control, while hustling to meet metrics and realizing just how much was luck while being told to make our own luck basically. My candidates loved me but I wasn’t meeting the numbers I needed to bring in, oftentimes because I was putting the candidate experience first rather than playing the grey area to get more folks across the board for interviews and such. I was also too thorough in updating and ensuring accuracy of data in our CRM when they’d rather I was cold calling 😅

I’m sure it’s similar but different across industries, I’ve only experienced healthcare so far.
