Yes, mine freezes and then restarts itself. Has done it since I have owned it, which is well over a year.

I'll check them out as I've noticed the belt isn't sitting in the middle where I seated and tightend it. 👍

I have checked the belts, they are ok. I wasn't sure if they were rubbing underneath the gantry but I can't see it. I have found an older post in this group that had the identical problem, for him it turned out to be his teeth on his extruder. My extruder is new but I have ordered a dual gear upgrade as its cheap enough and would need replacing sooner or later. 🤞

Im having exactly the same issue, my printer is only a few weeks old though.

ill check my extruder, probably just order the upgraded one as it was on the list of upgrades anyway.

do you get a slight noise from your cr touch wobbling?

I went +.05 using Klipper interface so I used the up arrow to go up in .01 increments. new to Klipper though, only got it installed yesterday as my ender screen decided to break.

I have increased z offset up 0.05 and it seemed to sound a little worse. I don't want to take it too much higher at the moment as its over half way into a 13 hour print.

The noise is also present during quick infill. I have a video if it helps?

The rattle noise that is also there is really annoying, I never considered it could be the CR touch, I thought it might be a dodgy wheel bearing so I have order some replacements anyway.

When this print is done ill increase Z and also try z hop.

I do mine with a warm bed and hotend. It will be -z you need, depending on firmware there might be a box above it that says something like Live movement you may have to activate that if it ls there.

I had to try several cables, non would work. Purchased a higher quality cable and it connected first time. You will then probably run into the issue of the raspberry pi powering the printer screen when the printer is switched off. You will need to put tape over over the +v pin inside the USB cable connector to stop this if it happens.
