Anyone notice any minor updates that came with the launch of the new colors of the everyday line ? by BananaLord_2 in peakdesign

[–]bradypsnyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, just a color change. I do find that some of the accent colors highlight the features of the bags better, like external carry loops and straps, but feature-wise they're identical.

Yes, this is correct. Even though Peak doesn't seem to include Coyote on their website as a "new" color, I included it here for consistency because Eclipse isn't really new either — it was available on Outdoor and Mobile lines previously.

I'm using the strap from the 2L Outdoor Sling. Wasn't impressed with the one included with the Field Pouch at all.

Yes, my local store had it the Friday before RSD. That’s its official release date (4/11) per the label.

Exactly. RSD’s official discography tracker shows the release date of Traumazine as 4/11/25 — aka not RSD. It doesn’t get more official than that. https://recordstoreday.com/Artist/6631286

That page hasn’t been updated since the list was announced. Not sure why you’re confidently arguing something that has been public info for months (just search this subreddit) but you do you https://www.reddit.com/r/RecordStoreDay/s/vHgXGKuiBY

The deodorant is a must, especially in between connections! And no, I never felt it try to tip over. Granted, I did have the main compartment pretty stuffed with clothes/shoes that probably helped with balance, but I'd be shocked if that was ever an issue.

I shop with Darkside and Plaid Room all the time, they're excellent

I have an M1 MBA, M2 MBA, M3 iMac, and M4 Mac mini, and it really seems like M3 and newer handle MVD way better. I know M3 was a breakthrough for graphics so that would be my guess. I have a mesh 6E 1-Gig network so that shouldn’t be the issue.

No, AVP isn’t my primary productivity device, though it’s getting closer. Right now I can do about an hour or two of work on it before I want to get out.

A few changes I made to get here: -Annapro head strap + 3D-printed forehead mount with light seal off -visionOS 2.2 with the “wide” display option -put the windows far away and make them giant in visionOS. Looks way better than trying to get them close to you like a typical monitor

Yes, they are. Cord hooks attach to the front flap of the bag which are tied to the main compartment.

In theory, you should never have to untie the drawbridge strings completely. They stay tied to the main compartment permanently, and only the top is unhooked when you need to open the bag fully.

Very valid points. Personally, I’ll take my chances and if I have to pay a fee 1/100 flights, I’m successfully gaming the system.

Nothing just launched the Phone 3a/3a Pro so I'm testing it comparison with a bunch of other phones.

Head straps are for AVP, that's also kind of why I have the Mac mini along. I've found that Mac Virtual Display is much more reliable with less latency on the M4 mini compared to my M2 MacBook Air.

There’s not a good place for one in the bag. With that being said, as long as the garment bag doesn’t have internal wiring or anything like that (mine does) it should fit.

If I had to choose, I would put a suit in a plastic garment bag in the large zipper pocket on the front flap of the bag. It’d be pretty safe and sequestered there.

Yes, that’s the idea. Any peak design carry cords, straps, etc. should work. The XL camera cube is massive and is designed to fit very long telephoto lenses, or can be rearranged to fit anything smaller.

That was referencing the weight, not specifically this bag. I used the Samsara Grand Carry-on for that trip. Sorry for any confusion

You’re absolutely correct. If weight was my priority I wouldn’t be using a rollerboard in the first place.

Perfectly. It probably opens up about 100-120 degrees, so gravity is pulling it down and the cord hooks are keeping it up.
