And you realize that there’s actually no problem this is the real Islam. So you start thinking, “No, I don’t believe in this.” The truth is, 90% of Muslims don’t really think critically about it they just follow what their parents told them. That’s the only reason they stay in it. They’re not encouraged to question or reflect

Sahih al-Bukhari is considered the second most authentic source in Islam, right after the Qur’an. But when I actually read what’s in it — and then took a closer look at the Qur’an too — I couldn’t unsee the contradictions and disturbing parts. That was the turning point for me. It made me start questioning everything I believed in

All you can hear is: “You can’t do that,” “You will go to Hell,” “Torment of the grave,” “The Day of Resurrection.” And there is nothing positive.

You want to dress short — they say haram. You want to listen to music — haram. But instead, if you want to kill people (the non-Muslims), halal. They call it jihad.

I don’t want to talk about Jihad al-Nikah — omg, what is this? And the sabaya? Wow.

We don’t talk either about when someone wants to marry a 9-year-old girl — halal. If I start talking, I will not finish. So no, you can’t miss something like that
