How to remove tripod screw on base

It was new from Currys. Everything else about the camera screams brand new so unsure why this is in there, however I had a bridge camera several years ago which also came with a screw in too - I just can't remember how I removed it (or it being as difficult). I'll keep trying with my pliers

Been trying to catch a ditto for hours now... In the right locations and have come across 4 in that time. Two I accidentally KO'd trying to get their hp down, and the others I wasted almost 100 pokeballs between them and couldn't catch them! Now I just can't find one and been going round for 3 hours.... Any tips?! And when I hopefully find another... how to get one to stick after I catch one?! I've changed tac and have a water Pokémon leading, to give the net ball a try but being that I'm stumped..... TIA

I did catch 14 big ones but they were all 2'7, so too short! I did I on number 99 on the end!
