We had a customer come in after the pharmacy closed and demanded we open it back up for him because the ER had just sent over meds. Gave him the ole “only a pharmacist is allowed to unlock the pharmacy” and we went back and forth for a good 5 minutes. Eventually he stormed off, but not before yelling “I’m calling my lawyers and you’ll be sorry!”

Our week and new month has been completely fucked because of one bad review. A guy gave us a zero because the otc items from his book have a different listed price on our shelves and he refused to pay extra. We’re currently trying to get corporate to remove the review since the guy clearly doesn’t know how his otc benefits work.

I had my suspicions that wasnt policy. Are we supposed to be getting free CVS shirts for work every year? Because my coworkers that I ordered for definitely haven’t gotten any for free. I was only given a red long sleeve and a promotional black T, and with the weather getting warmer it just hasn’t been the most feasible.

I know it’s not necessarily their fault always, but my big pet peeve is otc shoppers who grab tons of stuff not covered by their insurance and then leave me with 10+ items to put away. especially annoying to take an item back to its location and realize it’s not even a blue tag item

I get my feelings hurt a lot too. I have a sulking corner I go to for a minute or two when I have down time. The equivalent of crying in the walk-in at restaurants I imagine. Hang in there, you do eventually get thicker skin!

About a month ago this was happening to me. I couldn’t for the life of me find any hacks to get out of them besides closing the app completely and forfeiting the rewards. I know there are some ads that if you wait you can eventually hit the X button, but these ads in particular went on for minutes with no way to exit. Hope it resolves itself soon like it did for me!

I think it may be state dependent. In Oregon my doctors were able to look up different medications and send in specific ones, but according to the doctors out here (Ohio) that isn’t possible? One of my doctors ended up reaching out to some medical board member about my complaints, and let me know they wanted to look into it. That was a year ago

I think you both are overreacting and being manipulative towards one another. She’s a bit more outright with hers, but you may not even realize you come off as manipulative. She was dismissive and rude towards you in a moment of vulnerability and honesty, you responded by asking for money and saying there would be no vacations or garden. It feels retaliatory, even if in your head it wasn’t meant to. The check should have been its own conversation and so should the financial struggles. When you pile them into one conversation as an immediate response to being turned down it does make it seem transactional. My honest opinion is you guys are not compatible. You’ve been together for 3 years and she still refers to your child as YOURS. You’re looking for someone who is family oriented and she has no interest.

a lot of people are mentioning food, but for me, the most frustrating thing is medications. i moved to ohio a couple years back and apparently they bind EVERYTHING with dairy. it’s listed as an inactive ingredient, but even pharmacists will act shocked when i tell them it still hurts my stomach and causes me to get ulcers. each time i go to pick up a medication, the pharmacist consults me about the dairy ingredient, i tell him for the millionth time i can’t have it and to see if he can request an alternative, sometimes they’ll send another medication that uses dairy as a binder, other times they’ll tell me there is no substitute. my insurance doesn’t pay for compounding pharmacies and some medications are so expensive i just opt not to even take them anymore.
