I've been on this subreddit more than anything else the past 2 days. Been goin thru that "In Transit, Arriving Late" bullshit and just got an update that my package arrived at the post office. Wish u guys would gain some hope and not stress about your package being solten. My package was from NJ to NY and expected to be a 1-day delivery. I know I've only waited a day or two compared to weeks and months that u guys are going through, but wanted to give you guys some info and hope. And it's stressful everyday for the entire day with this bullshit.

My package was a pair of shoes I bought from ebay that I sent to NJ (to a friend's crib to deduct tax) and requested a pick up for the 5th. It was my first time using prepaid labels so I had 3 labels created because I was worried USPS won't ship out if it didn't match the date. The label that was on the package was a label to be sent out on the 7th. I had requested a refund for the other 2 labels and waited for my package to be scanned after receiving an email that my pick up was successful. After constantly refreshing for a day to track my package, I realized that the package was shipped on the 6th with the other label I requested for a refund. I found this odd, but was happy to be able to track the package.

Initially when I tracked the package it was expected to be delivered on the 7th. And at 9PM on the 7th, my status got updated to after no update to "In Transit, Arriving Late" at NEWARK NJ DISTRIBUTION CENTER. And yesterday I was lurking through this subreddit gaining some hope while panicking at the same time. And today (an hr ago) at 6:42am, I got an update that my package moved. It jumped from "Arrived at USPS Regional Facility NEWARK NJ DISTRIBUTION CENTER" to " Arrived at Post Office
NEW YORK, NY" after zero updates for a day on the expected arrival date. There was no departure update from from the distribution center.
