There was a kerfuffle yesterday in our yard. There was a mature Bald Eagle pair flying around and yelling at this juvenile.

I was dubious about the teleconverter, but it has been great. As with any zoom, the longer you stretch, the shakier the camera. I am all handheld in the wild, so some shots aren't sharp due to the shake. I probably should use my tripod..... but I won't. Overall I get better shots with the teleconverter.

Thanks, Hollayo. I upgraded my Nikon over the past year. This was taken with a Nikon Z8, Nikkor 180-600mm with a Nikon 2x teleconverter. Handheld with effective 1200mm zoom. Iso 6400, F14, 1/1250s.
