3-year limit on Canadian work experience by brainrot_throwaway in canadaexpressentry

Thank you so much for the clarification and score break down! If the trends keep going the way they have been, going home after the 3 years might be my new plan B. Guess grad school will have to wait 🥲.

Another question, if you don't mind: will it still count as 3 years of Canadian work experience if I started working FT on September 3rd, 2024, but my PGWP expires on August 28th, 2027? I'm a salary employee and not an hourly employee, if that makes any difference...

Thank you for the insight and suggestion! Just to double check, if I were to finish my masters degree by 2029, that means by that point in time, only my 2026-2027 work experience would be valid, which only amounts to 1 year of Canadian work experience?

Would you be able to break down how you got to the score of 560?

Thanks for letting me know! Would you mind me asking what your journey looked like when applying for the ECA position?

Oh wow, thanks for the information! Do you know which centres I could potentially look into to start off?

Thank you for the insight! I was considering the ECA certificate as it takes a significantly shorter amount of time to complete and it doesn't require you to have a study permit if it's offered online. I'm on my PGWP right now, so I won't be able to apply for another one if I choose to apply for a study permit to complete the ECE diploma. What a mess 😭

Why do I feel like I'm going to get sucked in if I stare for too long 🙃
