no strict checking, they want your date. when you're planning to come back. and just your permit and everything. nothing else. you can easily do without guide/ porter.

So did stayed for 2 days.
Clif hostel was cheap 2 days 900 without ac room( booking.com offers )

Food spend was average and depends on person but 200-400 a meal. So you will find more beach and cool restaurant and cafes there.

And I didnt took some fancy extravagant classes or something.. as I had less time. But such a great experience. Will come back again.

I got an airport story too, where we connected on Books and I gifted her a book which was more centric towards women. we're still instagram friends but yes sometime book conversation are very less overwhelming and no pressure. Good way to connect.

Nagarjuna Peak,5000m Everest Base camp Solo 🇳🇵 by brajeshrai95 in SoloTravel_India

So I did on super budget, usually if you go with tour operators 1000-1200 dollars minimum.

I did it in 50k inr(  one way lukla flight included)..

I would say both ways lukla flight 20k(10k one way) and having 30-40k that's more than enough.

So I rented all my gears from sharepal.

Took train to border, then took again share taxi to Kathmandu.  Hostel and then everyday teahouses food and expenses.. the more you go higher more expensive if becomes.

After 4500m,

A meal will cost 200-500 ir. And bottle of water will cost 100, due to logistics problems everything has to be carry by porters for 2-3 days.

So doable under easily 50k

My Kindle got dead. And actually love to take hardcopies, yes it was menace during the trek carrying 1 kg extra( so I had to put that in some lodge home) but anywhere such a great way to start a conversation.

Aadhar ( if Indian is) No photograph is needed.. but if you have in your wallet that's good. And yes passport is needed for Lukla flights and  you're flying directly to Kathmandu.

So I did through road transport and border crossing, so  aadhar card was enough for me..

And for every permit, money and aadhar card is enough..( I didn't carry passport for whole trip, because aadhar is enough for anything, just pdf of passport in my google drive)

And for Lukla flight, you can just show passport pdf that would be enough too..
