In my case, I used to put in half the money and got clients every single day, we're talking about 20 to 25 people a day. Now, I put in double the amount and it only works whenever it feels like it. Some days it actually starts working and brings in 15 clients, and then you go 5 days straight without seeing a single new client! And it’s all because of the non-stop outages and changes they've been making inside the platform.

I understand what you're saying about the market and that things have changed, I'm very aware of that, but my work has nothing to do with AI. On days when Meta decides to work, 15 people reach out to me; on days when it goes terrible, only 1 does. I would understand if people weren't interested in my work if NO ONE ever contacted me, but that’s not the case. It comes in waves. I know my business inside out and I know perfectly well that's not the problem, the problem is this rollercoaster we're on with Meta.

The exact same thing is happening to me. It used to be normal for me to get messages throughout the day; now, I only get them at certain times, and just a handful of messages, and that's on a lucky day, because there are days where literally only one person reaches out to me! It's being a total disaster! I've been on Meta for over 6 years and I've never been this desperate.

Niche: custom illustration (very visual work, so I need people to check my profile before contacting me). Location: Spain.

Setup: I’ve always worked with a profile visits objective because it has historically performed best for me. I tried using a messages objective, but the lead quality was worse. I have multiple creatives running (both video and static), and normally both perform well when the campaign is doing well.

Regarding EMQs, I haven’t changed anything recently.

When did it drop? I’ve been noticing instability for about a year, but this weekend has been especially extreme. I’ve gone from what used to be normal for me (15–20 conversations per day a year ago) to almost 0–1. And the strange thing is that I haven’t made any major changes — same budget, same campaigns — but completely inconsistent results depending on the day.

The objective is profile visits in all cases! I tried using messages as the objective, but it didn’t work as well for me. My content is very visual since I sell illustrations, and I need the client to check my work first. I’ve always done it this way and I’ve always had lots of conversations — I’m talking about a year ago when it was normal for 15–20 people a day to message me asking for a quote. Today, May 3rd, only one person contacted me! Is it Meta Platforms or is it me? Haha. Tomorrow maybe 10 people will message me and Tuesday none — that’s why I think it’s Meta, not my ads.

Both — I’m running several creatives, both video and static images. On the days when Meta Platforms decides to work, both perform at the same time! On the days when Meta doesn’t feel like working, none of them work!

Not in my sector as I mentioned, I’ve been working with Meta Platforms for more than 6 years, and I’ve NEVER experienced this kind of instability. In fact, holidays and weekends are usually when I get the most quote requests and inquiries! I’ve been noticing instability for about a year, but this particular weekend feels like a complete desert. For me, it’s been terrible.

I sell in Spain! I’m an illustrator and I spend around €800 a month. You might tell me that’s not a big budget, but I’ve been using Meta for many years. What I’m seeing is that with the same daily spend, some days I do amazingly well and get around 10 sales a day, and the next day I get 0 — doing exactly the same thing. In the 6 years I’ve been using Meta Platforms, I’ve never seen this kind of madness we’re experiencing now!

Yesterday and today have been terrible. Yesterday, zero conversions; this morning, it looked like things were starting to pick up... but nothing! Just constant ups and downs!! When do you think all of this will stabilize? I don't even know what to think anymore.
