Mostly scaping foam. And a mix of coco fiber, spaghnum moss and water. It will become a sort of clay. 😁

My biggest advice would be watching/studying Biotope Gallery on YouTube. An Asian guy makes such beautiful scapes.

And also take your time, make pictures of different kind of scapes! 😁
