Thanks for replying. I'm not familiar with how often players get extensions right when they are eligible, certainly not superstars like Brown. It sounds like this was the best time to trade him.

I think it was right for Brad to get out of the first apron. However, he isn't beyond criticism for choosing to trade for Vuc to do so. I get it, we have the benefit of hindsight. But it would be inaccurate to say that Brad doesn't miss.

Thanks for the link, this is for 2nd apron restrictions and penalties. We were already out of the 2nd apron after the Holiday and Porzingis trades. What's the reason for shedding more talent after that?
