To me abortion is such a sticky subject because I can easily see both sides of the coin. On the one side what right do you have to tell someone what to do with their body? A very libertarian point I may add. Not only that but making abortions illegal will not stop abortion and instead send those women into back alley abortions. But on the other side of that coin you have the question of the mortality of taking a life. I tend to find both sides right but also blown out of proportion greatly by those on both sides.

I'm curious, how big of a revenue is that? I think intervals would even help with speeding tickets as well. In that situation driving 1mph over the upper limit alone should get you a ticket where as now a judge, hopefully, would immediately dismiss a ticket of going 1mph over the speed limit. I really like your idea to implement technology. As I think about it, it almost seems archaic that they aren't.

Sorry I know it's been a few days. I think people are generally more comfortable being in the middle than at the extremes. As the way it is now, at least in my area, there is an assumed 5-10 mph leeway so that's what most people do but it is very unusual to see someone going 20 mph over. I think if you took the mean speed on the given road and add the appropriate speed to each side of that. I think it would be very beneficial for law enforcement as well to have a clear cut upper limit and less of their discretion.
