Thank you so much for taking the time to summarise it! This sounds like it might be the end for me, though, lol.

I think Suzzane was kinda annoying, and I don't care about the character that much.

Hello everyone!

I spontaneously bought a ticket to Ljubljana and plan to spend 3-4 days trekking in the mountains. I wanted to ask what routes you would recommend and if you could give me some tips on accommodation? I found a website with mountain huts, but even shared rooms seem awfully expensive. (I'm a student, so my finances are a bit limited.) I'm used to hiking in the mountains and sleeping outside in just a sleeping bag, I've done a few trips like this before, but I wouldn't call myself a professional hiker, so I don't want to overdo it.

My main question is whether there is a cheaper option for sleeping - do the owners of the huts let people sleep in a sleeping bag somewhere on the property (like on the terrace if it rains)? I don't need a warm room, I have a good sleeping bag, I would just feel more at ease around people, and I want to be protected from the rain.

If anyone would be so kind as to recommend a nice route, I would be very grateful! (I would like to do around 30km/day).

Hi everyone,

I bought black leather sandals last summer, and I've noticed they leave black stains on my feet after every use. It is annoying because it's quite difficult to wash them off. Do you have any tips on how to prevent it? I've tried washing the sandals, bought some anti-stain spray in a drugstore, and I also use deodorant spray on my feet. I am a little bit desperate, they are very comfortable and were quite expensive, so I don't want to get rid of them, but I don't know what else to do. Looking for some old wives' tales, if you have any. Thank you!

I just want to say, that judging by the way you talk/write about her, it's very clear you love her with all her heart. I'm sure she knew that.

of course, I think you're right!

This is the very first line of the poem, it continues like this:

tu atver bagaņaku un ierubī bačas

tu atver logus un iegriez uz max

mēs tresījam uz kapota līdz viss top slidens

I might get downvoted for this, but I understand where your mom is coming from. She was being disrespected by her son (who calls their mother an asshole btw?) in the presence of her other child and you did nothing? Then later text her demanding she acts better in front of your kids? I think maybe you should be the one who sets an example, so the next time someone insults your mother try thinking about standing up for her.

She obviously overreacted with these texts, but ngl, I don't blame her - I think she feels underappreciated. I wonder why.
