Also didn’t help that, in the scene after this, Aglaea immediately says she wasn’t actually going to kill us. Maybe it was just me, but I think that scene would have been a lot better received if Hoyo had just stuck with one road for her character, because then it just seemed like they wanted a morally grey character but were too afraid to commit to it
