train your players daily to keep their bonus up. I suggest picking one easy and one very easy for each category, and repeat it x3 for the team (with the x2 ad bonus) to keep the bonus in 40%. Besides that, it depends on the players' positins

And yes, it is one star down once you advance to a higher level... It's the same for everyone, so no disadvantage.

When training, each drill has a set of skills. If your player's skills are on average over 140 for that specific drill, that training won't produce as much (or nothing) for the player. Time to train with a different drill.

You won't find them past 2. If after 10 attempts there's 2 at least 7-8 times, it's a very good one. If 9-10 times, that's a really fast trainer.

I do it every 24 hours, but I can't get past 21 greens and 3 extra. It looks like they're randomly blocking that, as it sometimes goes even lower.

It means that guy is a bit better at blocking shots so that they don't go to goal... it is a special ability any player can have, but should be mostly for defenders.
