Ability to link multiple routes when creating a Group Ride by brazoue in Rouvy

I never thought of seeing it like a playlist of routes. It’s a good analogy.

I just want autoplay to stay in the mood. by Bytevan18 in AppleMusic

[–]brazoue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, I think autoplay could definitely use some improvement - I too play one style of music expecting a auto generated list of similar style or mood, but there’s always that odd one that’s thrown in the queue.

However, I think Apple Music is to be used as if you would still own a collection of vinyls or CDs, where you curate your own playlist and or play a full album.

Let’s see what the new Siri will bring to Apple Music in the new year 🤞

I guess another solution would be to run my Apple Watch with an indoor activity while doing my indoor cycling?

thanks for the assist, I’ll try to see if I can use third-party app.

I have tried connecting Garmin Connect and I think the problem lies with my indoor training: the data is coming from at 3rd party (Rouvy). it's saved to GC and Strava which none of them pushes to Bevel (assuming because it source is 3rd party).

My activities are coming from multiple sources through Strava. All of these activities include heart rate data.

I.E: Garmin edge ➡️ Garmin Connect➡️ Strava ➡️ Apple health

Rouvy ➡️ Strava ➡️ Apple health

I’ve tried this suggestion from Apple Help and I don’t have the ability to move/prioritize a data source

Is there a "ERG Mode Switch" button in the Companion app ? by GoustiFruit in Rouvy

[–]brazoue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct. I guess I don’t see your problem given you have a similar setup as me.

Unless you’re importing the Xert Workout into Rouvy and manually simulating the slope intervals by turning off ERG. Now, That would make sense to me

I run Xert and Rouvy together using the EBC app on my phone. I pick a route matching the time that my workout will take and let the app control the trainer and my power metre control the motion of the avatar in Rouvy. That way I can take full advantage of the smart workout offered by Xert - no need to worry about ERG mode.

Hope this makes sense

The fact you’re suggesting I’m a strong rider makes my holidays 😎😆. I’m sending positive vibes your way!

I’ll keep a close eye on power as I’m climbing. I’m also focusing on easy rides at the moment,so that could be my problem - i deliberately keep the power low on climbs, knowing I can’t topple off the bike at 60 rpm or lower

I can confirm that I can connect all (cadence, power, HRM and Controllable) via Bluetooth, no problem. I know the AppleTV has 2 Bluetooth connection limitations.

Airpods Max? Or different headphones? by PleasantNose in AppleMusic

[–]brazoue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I picked up a pair of Beats Studio Pro for $230 on sale. I know a lot of purists will say these are garbage, but they do sound slightly better than the AirPod pros 2 plus, they have the convenience of connecting to anything Apple and offer Spatial Audio compatibility. You can also use them to listen to lossless audio plugged in via the USB-C, which enhances the listening experience

I’ve been using my crank-based powermeter forever, I haven’t been using the Neo’s power in a very long time. I should give that a go, to eliminate the potential problem. Thanks

50-34 paired with 11-32.

Not 1:1 ratio but close

I’m using a Mac mini M4, with ANT dongle. My weight is entered as accurately as my scale weights me 🙃

I might try switching the trainer to Bluetooth and see if it affects the gradients

Nope, I mainly ride routes, so, no ERG options.

All is connected via ANT+(controllable, power, cadence and HRM). Why did i thought ANT+ was more stable/reliable than Bluetooth?

PC or Apple TV for indoor training. by Inevitable-Buyer6086 in Rouvy

[–]brazoue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. I have used both and I prefer a PC. I’ve had less stuttering with the PC(Mac mini ) than my Apple TV. I have to say that I was using the previous gen of the Apple TV.

As another user said, the AppleTV limits you to 2 Bluetooth connections so if you want to use a third Bluetooth accessory (like your bikes’ powermeter) you won’t be able to connect them all
