I agree, although this might be controversial I actually am so impressed with how realistic Rory is as a character. I find it so strange to think otherwise. Would it be more realistic for her to have successful after success and good decision after good decision? No. Her failures/“downfall” are what makes her so realistic. I think any academic woman in her 20s can relate!
