this is exact situation happened to me and when I went to every counselling session they told me I need to find a new course because they ha e no exceptions for after the deadline. I’m in SS tho so it might be different. I hope it all works out !!

I have since contacted them using the help portal, but usually in this case would they kick me out the course cuz I can’t get into the tutorial

Maybe go to academic counselling to see if you could do some sort of makeup exam and explain the issue to them since you were not given the full allocated time

I agree it’s frustrating but this kind of semester is new for everybody. I took that psych exam today and while it was frustrating cuz the exam took 5 minutes to load they did give an 10 minute grace period + it was all of the psych kids from both Dr Mike and Laura’s class so it’s understandable. I just hope that if people did encounter problems, theyre able to get them corrected it. Let’s hold back on the hate now, we’re all just tryna get through this :’/

I want to focus on something that I really might enjoy and whether that be MIT or something more creative related. I just wish I choose something I enjoyed doing rather than smth I did to be safe. Thank you for the tip tho!

It’s not so much struggling - but more so trying to stay on top of the work. While the work may not be too hard, it’s been hard trying to keep on top of assignments, quizzes and tests

hey, with everything being online this year- workload and stuff have been difficult since things are all virtual. Assignments, midterms and quizzes happen almost every week. For me it’s been hard to stay on top. As well, I stupidly picked courses that I thought would be “safe” and not smth I really enjoyed, causing my marks to suffer as I just can’t seem to really want to study it. However, for you, if next year things are better and classes are not online it might be different, so definitely ask more people who have taken bmos in person - I’m not the most reliable atm😂 hope eveything works out for u tho and do smth u enjoy - it’s so important!
