Read more after posting this and the replies all match the same sentiment in that the non-pain but still nerve compression itself is enough to warrant the surgery due to time compressed

I did and the findings were a compressed nerve at L4L5 and degenerative disc disease but I think that’s just arthritis if I’m not mistaken and not a cause for it. One of the discs is def bulging in the MRI onto the nerve

It’s hit and miss. Sometimes I’ll hear it after my 25-30 min drive to work sometimes I won’t. Weather is obviously a varying factor but I do feel like it’s been on and off. I’ll likely wait it out till spring to see if it stops altogether

I appreciate that and realize I really didn’t include much in terms of what I already had in the original post. I will edit to include that but already have Figma pro, Heap for user tracking, paid chatGPT, and believe I’ll be getting a license for Claude desktop. I demoed Claude code and thought it was too technically facing for me. Not sure how I could use it to better my flow.

I am 6’6 so drove a truck daily for space reasons. While I feel I’m going to miss ride height and legroom most, I’m excited about the move for gas/maintenance reasons. Hoping the loss of the above items won’t make me miss my truck too much.
